Guided Wild Flower Walk on Ham Lands

Sunday 13 June 2021
13:45 to 16:00

This walk is now fully booked.

We are very pleased to invite you back to our guided wild flower walk.

Geoff Hyde and Diane Brideson have both studied the flora on Ham Lands for several decades and they will be our guides during this walk.

We will meet by Tesco, 185 Ashburnham Road, Ham, Richmond TW10 7NR. Please arrive at 1,45pm. The walk starts at 2 pm. We regret dogs are not allowed at this event.

What was gravel pits has become a rich variety of flora thanks to the different infill soils used. This created habitats, mainly woodland, scrub, grassland, and wetlands, that contain a diversity of plants, including numerous rare species that are hard to find in London. There are meadow wildflowers that attract bees and butterflies and the reserve is teaming with birdlife.

Places are limited so please book your ticket on Eventbrite
