Energy Workshop at Ham Library

Thursday 20 May 2010
18:00 to 19:30

As part of Adult Learners Week, the Low Carbon Zone team is giving two energy workshops at Ham Library next week, on both Thursday 20th May from 6pm-7.30pm and again on Saturday 22nd May from 1pm-2.30pm for those unable to attend during a week day. The workshops are ideally suited to residents who want to learn the basics of how to understand their fuel meters, bills and heating controls. They will also give information on draught proofing, insulation and ways to ensure that residents actually see their savings. In addition, these sessions will teach residents how to help others reduce both fuel bills and carbon emissions.

Booking is essential via Ham Library (020 8940 8703). Places are limited but currently we have some available on both days. There is a booking fee of £1 per person to cover the Library’s costs.

Afterwards, there will be refreshments and the opportunity to ask specific questions on these subjects in a one-to-one session.
