I walk over Teddington Lock footbridge 3 days a week to and from my work in Teddington. Apart from the wonderous view, it is very exciting to think that soon it will be producing electricity for the communities on both sides of the River. I keep trying to vizualise Archemedian screws on the Weir, but the anticipation gets in the way. Perhaps we can have an artist's view of what it is going to look like.
This week we have had 2 high tides where the water has breached the Weir, guess they will be still when this happens. Just waiting on The Environment Agency to announce if Ham Hydro CIC have been choosen to deliver this exciting project.
