Ham Close: Visit to representative scheme in Northolt (UB5 6SR)

A Ham Close Consultation fact-finding tour of The Rectory Park Estate, Northolt, UB5 6SR.

An tour to a recently completed redevelopment scheme by The Hill Group,  development partners with RHP on the new Ham Close initiative. The tour will be external only and not gain access to the buildings or flats. It will be led by Richard Woolf RIBA, HUG member and lead on HUG Architectural Tours. It will allow members to visit and discuss a project of very similar size (449 homes similar to the propose 452 at Ham Close) and scale (a similar rectilinear master plan) to Ham Close. The project was presented as precedent by The Hill Group during their bid to secure the commission in November 2020.

 

If you are unable to make the tour, there is no restriction to you visiting the site at your own time and interest as it is open access.

 

Location: The junction of Rectory Park Avenue, UB5 6SR with the B 455 [ Ruislip Road ]. The nearest post code is marked by Harman Court on Google Maps being a junction on Rectory Park Avenue, to the south west of the estate. Duration: 1.5 to 2h. The journey time is approximately 80 minutes by public transport from Ham to Northolt. 

It will be the responsibility of those joining the tour to arrange their own transport. If not walking, cycling or using public transport, we suggest to arrange an informal ‘car share‘, COVID compliant, between members.
